Over 50 Would-Be Immigrants Rescued off Nador, Morocco
Fifty-three Sub-Saharan would-be immigrants, including ten women, who were experiencing difficulties onboard a deflated makeshift boat, were rescued on Monday by the royal navy coastguard off Nador, a military source said.
These candidates for illegal immigration, some of whom in bad health condition, received the first aid onboard the royal navy’s unit and were transported to the Nador port and handed to the royal gendarmerie as per the usual procedure.
Three corpses were found in the inflatable boat and were sent to the morgue of Nador El Hassani hospital, said the same source.
